Canadian band Mother Mother graced the Brighton Dome stage Tuesday night. Having been in a band since 2005, they made sure to pay homage to their (almost) 15-year long career.
But before Mother Mother even took to the stage, Liverpool based band Crawlers opened the night with a stage presence unlike any other. Lead singer Holly Minto paraded the stage as if it were her own, interacting with the fans in the crowd. I’ve never seen an opener who had me hooked as much as the Crawlers did.

8:55pm. The lights go dark and the crowd starts to cheer as each member of Mother Mother slowly takes to the stage. The band opened with the opening track of their newest album ‘Nobody Escapes’ before moving onto some classics like ‘Arms Tonite’ and ‘Hayloft II’.
The band continue to play a multitude of fan-favourites throughout their night on their impressive 23-song set list. The night ended with a two song encore – the title track from their newest album ‘Grief Chapter’ and quite possibly their most popular track, ‘Burning Pile’.
