Stella Scholaja, a pop singer songwriter, is set to release her single ‘Venus In Libra’ on July 5th as the second single for her debut album. This song is for the 80’s lover girls who are nostalgic for the sound of Madonna in the summer. For the girls who thrive on an electric synth. For the girls who obsess over the idea of magic and the placement of the stars. ‘Venus in Libra’ is for the girls who are in love with love.

The single opens with an addictive 80’s synth, taking the listener back in time to when music was something to be respected for the artform that it is and not just churned out for meaningless profit. Stella is a true artist who creates sonically satisfying songs and bares her soul to strangers through her deliciously poetic lyrics. So, ‘Venus In Libra’ is not a song that will disappoint you. With her seductive vocals Stella draws you in, enchanting you in all her siren-like glory as you float in her waters of self-love and astrology.

The opening lyrics, ‘my Venus is in libra or so I’ve been told, means I’m a big believer in love that is bold’ convey being entranced by a true love, one of romantic gestures and midnight walks under a full moon. She has too much self-respect to settle for a man who’s nothing but comfortable, the type of man who doesn’t make you want to scream in the rain, the type of man who doesn’t want to drown in your love. Stella encourages listeners here to settle for no less because why love a small man when Venus urges you to love a great one?

Soon the single bursts into the chorus where a pounding drum is added. This gives the song a versatility which allows it to be played in both a sweat-laced club full of people on a quest to find love, but also in a quiet bed chamber surrounded by crystals and candles whilst you manifest a love that is true. The standout lyrics, ‘I’m ruled by Venus’ convey that she is ruled by an entity much stronger than a mere man. She is ruled by the magic which laces astrology, enchanting her to fall in love with love whether that be romantic, platonic or self-love. Venus cast a love spell on her, putting her in a hopeful romantic trance so that she loves real love not the obsessed and often controlling nature of man.

‘Venus In Libra’ closes on a high with the final chorus forming a euphoric crescendo. So, embrace the drama and be the love of your life whilst you pre-save ‘Venus In Libra’. Share it with your friends so that you can all manifest an enchanting love ruled by the stars.
