Artists you don’t want to miss at Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival

After a year’s hiatus, Neighbourhood festival in Manchester makes it’s grand return on Saturday 5th October and it’s bound to be a spectacular day you simply cannot miss. With over 50 incredible artists set to perform across 12 of the city’s most beloved venues, there truly is something for everyone. As the anticipation continues to build, set times and venue splits are on everyone’s mind but here are some artists to add to your “definitely can’t miss” list! 

The Royston Club

Formed in early 2019, The Royston Club have proven themselves time after time that they are destined to make it all the way to the top. Having supported the likes of Miles Kane, The Wombats and Richard Ashcroft, the four-piece from Wrexham released their sensational debut album last year featuring some re-recorded fan favourites including “Mrs Narcissistic”, as well as some newer hits like “52”. More recently, the rising Welsh band released their newest single “The Patch Where Nothing Grows” which is bursting full of captivating guitar riffs, unsurprisingly making fans eager for more. The Royston Club are set to head on the road for a few headline shows this November, including 2 dates in Liverpool’s O2 Academy, as well as dates in Glasgow and Cardiff. The Cliffords

Forming in Cork, The Cliffords are undoubtedly making waves in the Irish music scene with recent pieces of work being the epitome of bittersweet coming-of-age anthems. The Irish five-piece are set to support Sea Girls at The Academy in Dublin, a performance which will almost certainly showcase their recently released debut EP “Strawberry Scented”. With headline shows in Cork and Dublin coming up, you don’t want to miss The Cliffords’ first gig in Manchester at Neighbourhood Festival!

Overpass

Hailing from Birmingham, Overpass continue to make their mark on the indie scene as they go on to release hit after hit. Since forming in 2020, the exciting four-piece have hit some pretty impressive milestones, such as releasing their debut EP “From The Night”, heading out on their first headline tour and supporting artists including Inhaler and Vistas. With their sophomore EP set to be released this November featuring the band’s latest single “Like No Other”, there’s no better time to catch Overpass creating an electrifying atmosphere at this year’s Neighbourhood festival!

Stevie Bill 

Having supported artists such as Nieve Ella, Aidan Bissett and Stevie Nicks during her rise to stardom, the Dutch indie pop artist is sure to be the next big thing with a discography exploding with mesmerising vocals and nostalgic lyricism. Recently having released her second EP “I was a Platinum Blonde” including the huge hit “Hahaha”, all eyes are on Stevie Bill as she continues to climb her way to the top, with a stop at Neighbourhood Festival along the way, you don’t want to miss this!
