North East star, Heidi Curtis, has finally emerged from the ether to unleash an entrancing ensemble of ideas within her debut, ‘Undone’.

On Friday evening she unveiled the single. A brilliantly bewitching track which Curtis stated on her social media marked “a chapter of change and rebirth within my (her) life.”

Sonically, ‘Undone’ emulates artists the likes of Kate Bush, Fleetwood Mac and Florence + The Machine. The evocative lyricsm paired with a formidable guitar riff, the drive of drums, the fluent bass line and the graceful hum of keys has produced a refined body of work full of soul and feeling.

Starting out by playing open mic sessions in North Shields to venturing further afield, supporting artists such as Inhaler, Paolo Nutini, Gerry Cinnamon, Paul Weller and local hero Sam Fender, whom Curtis has known for many years and even provided vocals for within Fender’s almighty ‘Hypersonic Missiles’, there is no doubt a bright future ahead for Heidi as she finally steps into the spotlight to enrapture us within her world of witchcraft and ecstasy.
