On Thursday 22nd January, Heidi Curtis took us to the water’s edge and lured us in with her hypnotic new single ‘Siren’.

Following her debut single, ‘Undone’, there was no doubt that whatever was to follow next would be just as enchanting.

‘Siren’ is a bewitching story of Curtis’s roots to her hometown, North Shields. It is a powerful song told as a folk-myth tale. Curtis’s haunting lyricism, fused with the grittiness of the guitar, is a magnetic anthem that offers a sense of escapism.

The 24-year-old singer combines folk and rock to form her unmistakable sound within the industry. Following the soul-stirring release of ‘Undone’ and all the love and traction that came with it, it is undeniable that Heidi’s future is set for excellence.

Having already made her mark before even releasing any music, she was working alongside Sam Fender and opening for the likes of Paolo Nutini, Inhaler, and Paul Weller. She continues to astound everyone with her sound, and it’s sufficient to say that nothing but growth is promised and that we are all holding out for what else is to follow in this chapter.
